My biggest takeaway is that this “refresh” is kind of perplexing. For the same $300 price, the 2nd gen removes things I actually liked on the 1st gen—fewer attachments (down from four to two) and no haptic sensor in the handle for guided breathwork features. The good news is it’s still light, portable, very quiet, and easy to grip with the triangle handle design, which makes it a solid everyday option for most people. But if you’re choosing between generations, I’d personally take the 1st gen Sense over this one—assuming you can still find it.
