The main difference I could determine was the addition of the heated and cooling attachment head. This is a great feature that really allows the device to become a bit more versatile when it comes to warmup and inflammation management. I think there's a lot to be improved with the cold function, but still nice to see companies are starting to evolve with their massage guns!
