I’m out in Las Vegas at the 2025 HFA Trade Show getting behind-the-scenes time with some of the biggest names in recovery, and in this video I linked up with Plunge and Human Touch to see what they’re bringing into 2025. My goal at shows like this is simple: figure out who’s actually innovating, what’s worth paying attention to, and where recovery tech is headed next. At the Plunge booth, Madison walked me through their cold plunge and their cedar sauna setup, including a commercial-focused plunge with features that make maintenance easier—like an auto dosing system, built-in filtration, a surface skimmer, and a 1-horsepower motor that can hold temps down around 37°F. We also talked benefits like reduced inflammation, dopamine boosts with contrast therapy, and the “resilience” factor—because getting into 37–40°F water is never the easy choice. Then I stopped by Human Touch and talked with Dave about why they’ve stayed a leader in massage chairs for 46 years: serviceability, innovation, and the ability to try chairs in-person through their retail footprint. We covered the range—from simple zero gravity relaxation to full recovery chairs with stretch, compression, heat, and sound—and why recovery as a category is only going to keep growing as more people chase longevity and performance.
