About This Video

In this market shopping/review haul, I carried you along on my September bulk shopping run (5th of September 2025) here in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. Honestly, the price of food this September left me in shock—especially tomato. Last month (August) I bought a crate around 21k–23k, but in this video the same fresh tomato crate was 30,000 naira. In Nigeria, you can literally sleep, wake up, and the price has changed, so I even had to travel farther to Trailer Market just to find something more affordable. I showed you the different sections—vegetables, spices, provisions, and then slaughter for meat and chicken—plus why I was stocking up (back-to-school prep for my kids). I shared real prices as I bought: dry pepper cups, onions, spices for stew, palm oil increase, and provisions like half carton Milo and milk. One big takeaway is that list or no list, you must be flexible because prices are not stable at all. I also tried something new—buying cow neck for 50,000 naira—because cow leg was so expensive that 50k couldn’t even get me half. At the end, I did a full price review so you can plan your own bulk shopping and know the current cost of living reality.
