This pregnancy has been “late late” for me, but I’m choosing joy and doing what I have to do so everything will go smoothly. I didn’t drive straight into the market because of the stories I’ve heard about what can happen to cars there, so I parked safely and entered to start my baby-things market run. I showed you real, current prices—especially the shocker: pino pino (newborn clothes) has really increased. The ones without long hand/long legs were 1,000 each, covers were 2,000, and the long-hand pino pino was 1,500. I also priced and bought key items like a baby hanger (I bargained from 35,000 to 25,000), a plastic baby drawer (40,000), a food flask (I got the one other moms recommended for 17,500 because I’m not joking with my yam pepper soup), baby towel (8,400), diaper and wipes for the hospital, receiving blanket, comb, and a Johnson baby bath set (22,000) because hospital asked for a bath set. I also showed what I already have at home so you don’t overspend—like my microwave bottle sterilizer and my Mothercare baby bathtub. And I was honest about what I don’t recommend: the old flask I used before doesn’t retain hot water for long at all.
