About This Video

My darlings, in this vlog I carried you along on a real “living in Nigeria” kind of week—school exams finally finished, holiday season wahala started, and mama was just trying to keep up. I picked the kids up on their last exam day, gist you about my second daughter’s clubs (drama, ballet, act club), and how she was the only one still going to school for video coverage. I even packed three different costumes for her and tagged her name, because if you don’t plan well, you’ll suffer it. I also showed you the motherhood side that people don’t always talk about—once kids are home, food must be available because they will eat more. I made porridge beans (my own style with ugu and dried prawns) and fried plantain, and I brought stew out from the freezer and boosted it with roasted chicken. Mothers now they try—sometimes you’ll just be asking yourself, “What do I cook today?” Then we entered full December mode: market stress, buying party packs, and sorting Christmas packages for my kids’ special teachers. I even forgot to order cake and had to stop at a mall to buy one. In the end, I focused on what matters—putting a smile on my baby girl’s face as she celebrated her 6th birthday in school, because whether it’s plenty money or small money, joy is the goal.
