Hi friends—welcome to Vlogmas Day 14! In this video I’m doing a collab with Lou from Lou’s Little Zoo, and we both created pet-inspired makeup looks. We went back and forth on what animal to pick, but we landed on our frogs: Lou’s tomato frog (all those reds/oranges) and my chubby frog, Putty, with her rich chocolate browns, black, and a little bit of shine. My goal was basically to mimic her color scheme without taking it too seriously—because honestly, this was just meant to be fun. I already had my face makeup done (and yes, I was super dry so don’t judge me if I look crusty and crepey). Then I walked you through the eye look using an older Morphe 35W palette plus a little mix of random favorite loose shadows. I built up warm tan/mustard tones, deepened everything with chocolate browns, added a sparkly brown on the lid for that “shiny” frog vibe, and finished with liner in the waterline and a highlight using my favorite, Shimma Shimma by Makeup Geek. I wrapped it up with a warm-toned brown lip and some dramatic close-ups—then I sent you over to Lou’s video to see her matching frog-inspired look!
