In Vlogmas Day 13, I’m taking you guys along with me to the Herps Show reptile expo in Austin, Texas! I’ve been documenting a lot of expos lately, but y’all really seem to enjoy them—and this one was extra special because we weren’t just browsing. We walked the show, checked out booths, and picked up a few much-needed supplies while I filmed the day as we went. The biggest reason we went, though, was to pick up our new baby girl: a female baby African fat tail gecko from my favorite gecko breeder, Huff’s Herps. A little over a month ago, Seth told me about this special little girl who has a very mild deformity that doesn’t hinder her at all, but he wanted her to go to the right home. He made sure I understood she needed to be pet-only, and that was totally fine with me because we don’t intend to breed our geckos anyway. You’ll get a quick look at her near the end (she’s quarantined, so I’m keeping it limited for now), and I’ll do a proper introduction video after Vlogmas!
