Hey everyone—Bridget here (BB’s Beasties). In this video I’m sharing some really big, very personal news that’s totally different from my usual exotic pet content… I’m pregnant. If you follow me on social media you probably already knew, but I wanted to sit down and actually talk to you guys about what’s been going on behind the scenes, where I’m at right now (I was 17 weeks while filming), and why things have felt a little “off” with my energy and uploads. I also explain why Vlogmas was such a challenge for me and why I ended up taking that long break—my first trimester was rough, like sick every day, exhausted, emotional, and just trying to function. I’m doing a lot better now, but I’m being honest that my upload schedule is going to change. I’m not doing two videos a week anymore, and even Tuesday uploads might get tricky as the year goes on. I’m due at the tail end of August, and I may take a bigger break after baby is here so I can actually be present and enjoy this new chapter. I’m not going anywhere—I still love this channel and my animals—but I’m asking for a little patience while my life changes. And yes, I even showed a little bump update at the end, because I know some of you genuinely like seeing that kind of real-life update.
