We also cover the stuff that makes or breaks the experience: dongles/DACs for phones without headphone jacks, ear tips (yes, your ears are siblings, not twins), and easy ways to adjust sound—PEQ, swappable nozzles/filters, tip rolling, and even impedance adapters (I graph with and without them, because some sets change a lot and some barely move). Then I roll into my holiday recommendations by budget and tuning, using my “desert island pick” idea: not “the best,” but what I’d personally buy if I could only have one in that bracket—usually a warm-ish all-rounder that won’t punish you on long listening sessions.
