Hey y’all! In this video I’m decorating my dining room table for Christmas, and I’m keeping it cozy, simple, and budget-friendly. I was getting ready to film my home tour, but my table was just not making me happy—it had my one lonely gold deer and a lantern, and it was eating at me. So I decided to redo my Christmas tablescape before the tour, and I’m so glad I did because it pulled my whole dining room together. I start with my reversible Pier 1 buffalo check runner (I miss Pier 1 so much!) and I turn it sideways so you get a full view when you walk in. Then I layer in sparkly magnolia-style greenery, my old glitter fruit picks (I’ve had them forever), and I elevate my Hobby Lobby gold deer on a little riser. The real stars are my Costco find—a three-piece set with two gold deer and a tall tree—and y’all… for $20, I still can’t believe it. I finish it off with gold fairy lights for that nighttime sparkle, a big pine cone, a little “Slay Ride” sign, and simple place settings with neutral HomeGoods placemats, Target Dollar Spot chargers, buffalo plaid plates, and Dollar Tree “’Tis the season” salad plates.
