Try Rork using this link: https://rork.com/?ref=andy I recently entered the rabbit-hole of indie developers that share their mobile apps revenue on X. And some of them have astonishing results. Like this guy making 10k a month with his AI dating app.So I thought why not try to code a mobile app for iOS myself and make a video about it. And that’s exactly what we are going to be doing today. You’ll watch me take this from an idea to an actual app that’s ready to be published on the AppStore and generate monthly recurring revenue from subscriptions right away. Don’t forget to share your thoughts about this! About This Video

I went down the rabbit hole of indie devs on X sharing mobile app revenue (some of them are pulling in wild numbers like $10k/month), and it pushed me to do a full “idea to App Store-ready” iOS build on camera. In this video, I build a minimalistic, premium-feeling habit tracker called Essence—calm, monochromatic, and intentional. Think SF Pro typography, generous spacing, subtle animations, muted sage green accents, and zero loud gamification. The goal is a product that feels refined and converts, not something that screams “vibe coded.” To ship fast, I use Rork Max in the browser and describe the app in plain English—then I iterate by getting super specific about details like micro-interactions (ink-wash circle fill, haptics, slow ease-in-out animations), texture overlays, and understated depth. After the UI is locked in, I add real functionality: habit creation, strict streak logic, local persistence with SwiftData, a clean “all habits” view, swipe-accessible stats, long-press delete, and iOS widgets that match the aesthetic. I also show how testing on a real iPhone and publishing to the App Store gets dramatically smoother with Rork Max—so you can focus on building something people will actually pay for.
