About This Video

Hey there guys—this one’s a real “day in the life,” but with a couple big life updates. I’m starting the morning slow (coffee + oats), because I got pretty seriously sick and half of my face is temporarily paralyzed after a ski trip to Italy while I had a cold. On top of that, I got laid off from my full-time software engineering job. It wasn’t totally unexpected since the company hasn’t been doing too well lately, and honestly I’m not stressed because I’ve built other income streams that keep me afloat while I figure out what’s next. From there, I jump into real work: I give a quick revenue update on my linking bio SaaS (Linker), which I scaled to around $3,000 in monthly recurring revenue, and then I walk you through a debugging session fixing a Stripe webhook issue that was breaking subscription payments. The fix came down to two problems: a wrong endpoint URL causing a 404, and a brittle “assign Pro plan” check that failed when users used different emails—so I switched it to user ID. After that, I shout out TestSprite MCP for automated testing, then spend the rest of the day implementing a new freelance client project now that the Figma designs are ready—working on my terms, without the cuffs a 9-to-5 puts on you.
