In this studio vlog, I’m picking up right after my shop update to pack all the orders that came in (seriously, thank you so much if you placed one). I recently started selling my stained glass patterns as physical stickers instead of only digital files, and I launched them with my crow design (of course). Packing these has been requested for a while, so I’m really happy people are enjoying them—and as of now, all of my patterns are available as stickers, with more coming as I make new designs. I’ve also been wanting to get back into more traditional drawing and painting, so I grabbed a new sketchbook and started planning out illustration + sticker ideas, along with new stained glass designs. I like sketching stained glass concepts and then coloring them to test different palettes and get a better idea of what glass I want to use. Arrtx kindly sent me their 90-color acrylic marker set to try, and it was honestly perfect timing—no pumping, brush tips (my favorite), super smooth, and a really nice gouache-like finish. To wrap up, I share some calm glass cutting as I start a limited batch of my stained glass crows (I used up the last of the glass I had for them). I’ve got 13 pieces in progress right now, and my next stained glass drop will be mid August—Instagram is the best place for real-time updates.
