In this Christian mom vlog, I’m keeping it all the way real with y’all—today felt like a straight up nervous breakdown. I’m pregnant with a toddler, late to my OB appointment, running on no clean clothes, no gas (because of course), and my nervous system is just tapped out. I’m overstimulated, annoyed, and trying to do a million things at once while Noah is being a toddler (and yes, I love my son to death). Then I get to the appointment and find out it was canceled, and it just felt like one thing after another. But the whole point of this vlog is what God was showing me in it: I was putting my trust in myself. I kept trying to carry everything in my own strength, and that’s why I was spiraling. Later, after I ate and took a nap, I reflected and the Lord convicted me—like, “You need to start putting your trust in Me again.” I share the scripture I went to (Galatians 5) and talk about how my frustration was showing up like “fits of rage,” and how walking by the Spirit is what I actually need when life is lifeing. This is what it really looks like—imperfect, messy, but choosing to hand it back to Jesus.
