The whole record is built around that daily fight to stay grounded: “the devil working lurking trying to get me to crash,” owning imperfections, and still leaning on faith to make it home safe. The hook keeps circling back to the same idea—things get heavy, life gets loud, so you pray anyway. What hits is how specific the verses get about pressure: hustling “the hard way,” lights about to get cut off, rent due, and that mental tug-of-war where you start second guessing your faith.
