About This Video

Hey, what’s happening guys—this video is a full breakdown of what you actually get when you download my Creativekit free Spline Mesh Tool for Unreal Engine 5.6. It’s an in-editor layout tool that my Discord community voted on when we hit 200 members, so I’m putting it out there for free (link in the description—goes to my Patreon, but you should be able to grab it without paying). When you download it, you’ll get a single folder with the spline tool Blueprint, a demo map, and a couple example materials so you can see everything working right away. I walk through the details panel settings and how I tried to organize it to be pretty self-explanatory: mesh options (main/start/end meshes with flags to swap start/end), collision settings (object type, enabled state, profile name, plus manual per-channel responses), material overrides, and then the big ones—rotation, location, and scale. I show the “rotation follows the spline” option so your meshes actually bend along the curve, and I also built in randomization for rotation/location/scale with min/max ranges per axis. I also cover spacing offset (how dense the meshes are along the spline) and how to migrate the folder into any other project. This is version one, and I’m planning to add more—like looping rotations/animations—once I get feedback.
