About This Video

Google AI Studio has just been completely transformed, and in this video I show you exactly why I’m so excited: you can now build fully reliable, full‑stack apps with real backend features—login, database, synced history—and it’s completely free. I start by prompting a multi‑page YouTube ā€œlearnerā€ app UI (history on the left, video page, loaders, insights + transcript boxes), and then I turn it into a real product by adding Firebase email/password authentication. I walk you through creating a Firebase project, copying the SDK snippet, enabling Auth, and wiring it into AI Studio with one prompt. Next, I set up Firestore (users collection + videos subcollection), generate proper security rules so each user can only access their own documents, and then prompt AI Studio to save video URLs, titles, insights, and transcripts into the user’s history automatically. Finally, I add the AI features with Make.com: two simple webhook scenarios—one for summary and one for transcript—powered by Gemini (I use Gemini 2.5 Pro). I also show you how to handle the annoying ā€œJSON code blockā€ issue for transcripts, deploy the app (so YouTube embeds actually work), and then I build a second app: an all‑in‑one notification hub that pulls Gmail, Calendar, and competitor YouTube videos into Firestore in real time using Make scenarios.
