Because of the holiday, Cartier had a cute in-store setup with tea selections and treats, and I tried these fortune cookies dipped in milk chocolate and dark chocolate—so good. My SA, Mao (M Ao), also wrote me a sweet letter and gave me a big box of Cartier red envelopes in red and gold with the little baby panther, which is seriously adorable. The main reason I went in was for my Cartier Tank watch strap situation. I love that you can switch straps to match your outfit and handbags, and I show you guys the different colors and finishes (alligator material, patent vs matte, and so many shades). I break down how Cartier strap pricing works—there’s a separate price for the buckle and the strap—and I also share what shipping/wait times can look like if your color isn’t in stock. Before I go, Mao also shows me some new Clash de Cartier pieces with a new color detail in the middle, and the dainty mini hoop earrings were definitely a “heat” moment.
