Hey guys, it’s Trish. In this shopping vlog I’m in Michigan checking out Somerset (Somerset/Somerset — I still don’t know how to say it lol), which is basically the main luxury mall here. I walked around and scoped out all the designer stores like Dior, Cartier (they just opened a new boutique!), Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co., Gucci, Hermès, Saint Laurent, and more. Since it was Wednesday, it was super, super empty, which honestly made browsing feel way less stressful (even though I was still kind of nervous heading into Dior because I had an appointment at 4). I didn’t end up buying anything at Dior, but it was really nice to see the Michigan store in person and just take my time looking. After that, I went to Tiffany & Co. to try on engagement rings, and the associate was amazing—she explained so much about Tiffany diamonds and how everything is made. Then I crossed over to the other side of the mall (Macy’s/Nordstrom side), popped into Pop Mart, checked beauty, and finished at Nordstrom’s Dior Beauty area to see if they had different gifts. And of course, I had to stop by Swiss chocolate—my favorite—because they literally break off a slab and weigh it for you. I grabbed chocolates for my boyfriend’s parents and for us, and that was the perfect end to the day.
