Hi guys, in this video I’m finally doing a real-life check-in test on my RIMOWA Ballerina Pink Check-In Large (polycarbonate). This was my first time ever checking in a large RIMOWA, so I was excited but also nervous because you guys already know—airlines can be rough, and I wanted to see if it would scratch, crack, dent, or break. We flew Spirit Airlines, and I brought a clear plastic luggage cover from Amazon to help protect it from scuffs and streaks. I show you the inside (zippers, flaps, the whole layout) and how I packed for my trip—clothes, coats, shoes, plus my skincare and beauty products because I always travel with that. I also show the wheels and how they spin 360, which I love because it makes rolling through the airport so much easier. After a 4-hour flight to Michigan, the moment of truth at baggage claim: my luggage was totally fine. The only issue I noticed was a few scratches on the handle and some dirty marks/streaks, but the cover helped a lot. Flying back to Vegas, I didn’t see any new problems, and overall I’d recommend using a plastic cover if you’re checking your RIMOWA.
