Using NotebookLM to create flashcards, but want to add them to another flashcard app? NotebookLM is incredible for generating flashcards, but until recently, those cards stayed exactly where they were built. If you want to use your NotebookLM study sets in Anki, Quizlet, or a customized spreadsheet, you need to know how to use the export toggle. I'll show you how to pull a full 59-card deck into a clean, two-column CSV in under 60 seconds. The Flashcard Export Blueprint: - Open Your Study Studio: Head to notebooklm.google.com and open a notebook with existing sources. - Generate the Set: Use the "Flashcards" tool in the right-hand Studio panel to create your deck. - Find the Ellipsis: Open your flashcard deck and look for the three dots (ellipsis) in the top-right corner. - Download the Set: Select "Download set" to receive a .csv file containing every question and answer. - Import: Take that file and upload it into your preferred study tool. A few thoughts: - Text files are usually just very bare. When you export these cards, you lose the fancy Google UI, as you're getting raw data in two columns. - If your preferred flashcard app is picky, you might need to change the file extension from .csv to .txt to get the import to trigger correctly. - Don't expect the formatting to stay pretty; expect the data to stay accurate. ✨ Enroll in the next NotebookLM Maven Cohort → https://maven.com/thoughts-brewing-llc/learn-notebooklm-in-a-weekend-2-cohort 🌟 Request a video topic: https://thoughtsbrewing.com/en-us/youtube-video-request-page?utm_source=youtube #NotebookLM #StudyHacks #flashcards #AIQuickTips #ThoughtsBrewing ▶️ Watch: What's New in NotebookLM Flashcards? → https://youtu.be/VAJ6r8bpo5g?si=-NyfiDE41yq6jSnL ➡️ Subscribe: https://www.youtube.com/@thoughtsbrewingllc ➡️ Make your week easier → Subscribe to the blog: https://thoughtsbrewing.com/en-us/blog-subscription?utm_source=youtube Timestamps 0:00 - Can you download flashcards from NotebookLM? 0:30 - How do you make flashcards in NotebookLM? 2:05 - How do you export my NotebookLM flashcard set? 2:20 - What is inside the downloaded .csv file for NBLM flashcards? 3:05 - How do you import NotebookLM flashcards into Google Sheets? 5:20 - Recap: You can download NotebookLM Flashcards Keywords NotebookLM flashcards, export flashcards from NotebookLM, download NotebookLM data, AI study tools, NotebookLM to Anki, NotebookLM to Quizlet, CSV export tutorial, Google AI research, study workflow automation, NotebookLM tutorial 2026, AI Quick Tips, Thoughts Brewing, Damien Griffin, NotebookLM, Google NotebookLM, Google Labs, Google AI, Download NotebookLM Flashcards, NBLM Flashcards
