NotebookLM PowerPoint Export: What You Actually Get

Many NotebookLM users have been unhappy with the rigidity of the NotebookLM slide decks. Now there is finally an option to export to PowerPoint, but is it the customization option you were hoping for? Most of us want to tweak fonts, move text, or add our own branding once a deck is generated. I show you exactly how the new PowerPoint download works, and why it might actually be more work than it's worth. The PowerPoint Export Blueprint: - Open NotebookLM: Navigate to your notebook and select at least one source to generate a slide deck. - The Ellipsis: Click the "More" menu on your existing slide deck to find the new .pptx download option. - The Image Reality: Understand that each slide exports as a single, static image. - The Clunky Edit: Learn how to use Microsoft Copilot or "piecemeal" overlays to fix mistakes. A Note: Google has a habit of silent fails and removing favorite features. The problem and the reason why I don't think most people are going to like it is because it downloads it as an image... I don't think this is what most people were looking for.
