This new integration allows you to have a real-time conversation with a mountain of information across math, physics, computer science, and more—all directly within the Gemini interface. The OpenStax Integration Blueprint: 1. Access the Menu: Go to Gemini.Google.com. You can use the standard "Fast" model for this integration. 2. The "@" Command: Type the "@" symbol in the prompt box to pull up the apps menu, then select OpenStax. 3. Ask Your Question: I show this by asking about "computational models." Gemini successfully reaches out to the OpenStax database and provides cited sources for the answer. 4. Review the Sources: You can click the "Sources" dropdown in Gemini to see the specific OpenStax textbooks the AI used to build your response. Important Note on Availability: This feature is currently active on personal/free Google accounts.
