I'll show you my Free, Plus, and business Workspace Pro accounts side-by-side to show you exactly what is shifting, what is broken, and where your features went. The Gemini Interface Blueprint: - The Model Shakeup: The app interface now includes 3.1 Flash-Lite alongside 3.1 Pro, but the menu layout changes depending on your exact plan. (NOTE: this video was made before Google I/O, so the models are now all different) - Thinking Level Adjustments: Free and Plus tiers now feature explicit toggle controls for Standard vs. Extended thinking speeds. - The Sidebar Split: Image and video generation options have moved to a layout that closely mirrors ChatGPT, featuring prompt expansion blocks to solve the blank-page problem. - The NotebookLM Connection: A dedicated Notebooks ecosystem tab allows you to pass data back and forth, but it is selectively missing on specific tiers. A few thoughts: - Google Workspace Pro accounts are currently suffering from severe feature lag. - If you are paying for the workspace-tier Pro account, Google completely hides the new Notebooks integration panel.
