Editing Slide Decks in NotebookLM (What Works, What Doesn’t)

Is it possible to edit a slide deck once you've generated it in NotebookLM? Unlike Data Tables, which export directly to Google Sheets, Slide Decks are currently a bit more "locked in". However, in this video, I demonstrate a workaround to restyle and modify your decks by using the PDF source method. The "Slide-Edit" Blueprint: 1. Download as PDF: Take your existing NotebookLM slide deck and download it to your local machine. 2. Re-Upload as Source: Upload that same PDF back into your notebook as a fresh source. 3. Prompt the Change: Deselect your original sources, select only the new PDF source, and write a specific prompt for the change you want (e.g., "Change all slides from a light theme to a dark theme"). 4. Review the Results: I compare the original vs. the edited version slide-by-slide to show you what stays the same and what shifts in the layout. Note on Accuracy: This method is about 85-90% effective.
