The days of needing formal coding knowledge to build an app or game are kinda over. This video demonstrates "vibe coding" at its best: turning a simple, creative idea into a fully functional, playable game using just a few lines of text. Using Gemini 3 Pro and its powerful Canvas feature, I built a clone of the highly popular Plants vs. Zombies game (complete with resource management, a grid layout, and different unit types) in under three minutes! The AI Game Development Blueprint: 1. Access Canvas: Go to the Gemini app, select Thinking with 3 Pro, and choose the Canvas tool. 2. The Prompt: Describe the core mechanics and requirements. I used: "create a playable Plants vs. Zombies game. Include at least five different plants and five different zombies. Graphics do not have to be at the same level as the original game. However, the gameplay must be similar.". 3. The Result: The AI generated nearly 1,100 lines of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create a fully playable, albeit visually simple, game interface that runs right inside the Canvas window (and can be saved as a local HTML file!). This demo is designed to encourage you to explore the true creative potential of these tools.
