From Grow Bags to a 17 Bucket Hydroponic System 💧 Full Build

We officially said no more grow bags… and built a 17 bucket Dutch bucket hydroponic system to prepare for the spring garden here in zone 9A southeast Louisiana. In this video, we break down our existing grow bag setup, move what we can save, and install a DIY hydroponic system from scratch using Dutch buckets, a large reservoir, pump, and drip irrigation lines. This 17 bucket hydroponic system build will allow us to grow up to 34 plants in the same space, improve watering efficiency, and avoid the constant drainage and swampy ground issues caused by grow bags in hot southern climates. We walk through the full Dutch bucket setup process, including bending drain pipe to fit our yard, installing return lines, setting up the reservoir, running tubing, and preparing buckets with perlite and filters.
