Our Backyard Garden Is Finally Paying Off + The Silkies Have a Coop

After days of nonstop rain, we finally got a break in the weather to set up our new chicken coop for our silkies and sizzles! While my husband worked on the coop, I headed out into the garden and realized SO many things were ready to harvest. In today’s backyard garden harvest, we’re picking: 🥒 Cucumbers 🫛 Green beans 🍅 Tomatoes 🧄 Garlic 🫑 Bell peppers We’re also taking a look at: 🌿 Hydroponic tomatoes on the trellis 🌸 Queeny Lime Salmon zinnias 🐛 Mite damage struggles in the garden 🌱 Store-bought garlic harvest success 🐓 Our silkies’ very first night in their new coop This season has definitely come with challenges between storms, pests, and trying to keep up with maintenance, but it’s also shaping up to be one of our most productive garden seasons yet.
