I’m honestly blown away by how hard people are switching up and dragging the final season of Stranger Things after Volume 2. I’ve seen endless threads, posts, and videos calling it “absolute trash,” dunking on every little thing, and even acting like the whole show is suddenly for little kids. And look—are there moments where I’m like, “Huh… they did that”? Sure. Stuff like Nancy Wheeler mowing down trained soldiers isn’t exactly believable, and there’s definitely some plot armor here and there. But blanket-labeling it as trash is wild. Trash is a random Tubi movie—those low-effort, throwaway projects that don’t deliver on craft or execution. Stranger Things isn’t that. These filmmakers and the people behind the show have spent 10 years building a world that’s genuinely unlike most of what we’ve seen on TV, and I think people forget what it takes to pull off production at that scale. For me, I’m entertained and I’m having a good time. Were the last three episodes as strong as the first four in Volume 2? No. But calling the whole thing garbage feels like it’s more about clicks than an honest take—and I’m just saying, we can be better than that.
