I break down how the idea started (random TikTok scroll, lightbulb moment), how we went from a rough first prototype to something I actually love using, and why the whole point was simple: I wanted a way to store, organize, and subpack filters—but also wear them handsfree on set. I show how the Go Bag works in real shooting scenarios—concert pits, weddings, run-and-gun docs—where running back to a cart or stuffing filters in pockets is just not it. The patch kits, pull tabs, and Cord ecosystem integration make it easy to label what’s inside and build a modular setup beyond filters (cards, tools, even film rolls). Then I get real about the business side: R&D, shipping, duties, tariffs, packaging, and marketing add up fast, and there’s zero guarantee any of it pans out. But I’ve already used it on three big gigs, it worked exactly how I wanted, and that’s the entire point—make products that genuinely improve your workflow, then earn the market one shipment at a time.
