How to make a Mint Julep and the Whiskey Smash

Hey folks, In this video I'm making two whiskey cocktails with one very important common ingredient, mint. I dive into a little brief history on the Mint Julep and its closely related cousin, the Whiskey Smash. Both drinks are made with essentially the same ingredients with the same 1:1 simple syrup and Kentucky bourbon. But because of the difference the citrus makes, they are dramatically different beverages. With any luck you should be able to follow suit and do the same at home.
