In this video I’m giving you a real update on my first SaaS as a self-taught developer—how much I earned and what the progress looks like after launching. The product is Bizfast, an AI receipt text extraction tool where you upload a PNG/JPEG receipt, it extracts the text, organizes it into a table, and lets you export to Excel. I built it in about a month (started around 17 Nov, shipped to production on 23 Dec), and I’m tracking the income through a simple data analytics page that pulls the latest Stripe transactions. Here’s the honest number: I made my first internet money in December—about $16. In January it went up to around $30, and right now with some churn I’m making about $15. Total so far is roughly $51. It’s not a lot, but the point is I built once and it’s automated—no major issues reported by users so far, and that gave me the confidence to build my second product (AI Landing) where I integrate Claude to generate landing pages you can customize and deploy. My bigger message is Tech Career Leverage: coding isn’t only for a 9–5. If you learn to code, you can freelance, work remote/hybrid, build products, create content, consult, or teach. I’m documenting everything because I was in that “life-threatening career” situation in 2022, took the leap to learn code, built a portfolio, and changed my path—so I know you can do it too.
