About This Video

In this video I review the MechLands M75, a $65 budget magnetic (Hall effect) keyboard that’s honestly pretty underrated for what you get. It’s a 75% layout (my favorite), it has a swappable knob (and if you hate knobs you can literally remove it and put the Insert key there), plus a metallic/aluminum back plate that adds some weight. Design-wise, it’s a love-it-or-hate-it color, but I actually like the whole “green splash” vibe—if you’re a gecko man, this is for you. I go over the magnetic switches (closed bottom, minimal wobble, steady feel) and the double-shot PBT keycaps (not shine-through, but they’re grippy which I really like for Valorant). The typing feel is good, but I was expecting the sound to be better with all the internal layers—there’s room to improve if you want that creamy/thocky vibe. For performance, it supports 8K polling and 32K scan rate, with rapid trigger settings like SOCD/DKS/snappy. My main complaint is the software: no web-based option, and the UI is confusing and can reset settings. In-game though, it felt precise with low latency, so for $65 I’d still say it’s worth a shot.
