These Tipsy IEMs overall offer a casual great experience, but not the best pick for audiophiles. About This Video

In this video I review two popular Tipsy Audio IEMs: the M1 (around $90) and the M3 (about double). They’re not marketed as “gaming IEMs,” but I’ve seen a lot of people recommend them for gaming, so I tested both for music and long sessions in games. Quick disclaimer: these were sent to me, but the video isn’t sponsored, and I’ve had about two months with them to form real opinions. I go through the unboxing, accessories, comfort/fit, drivability (yes, you can run them off an Apple dongle), and then I break down the sound. Comfort is the headline: these are genuinely some of the most comfortable IEMs I’ve tried, super light, and easy to wear for hours. Sound-wise, the M3 is a more obvious V-shape with elevated bass that’s fun but can bleed into the mids (vocals—especially male—can feel a bit distant and lower-res). The M1 is milder/warmer, and the bass quality surprised me—in my opinion it’s punchier, cleaner, and has better sub-bass rumble than the M3, plus vocals sit more forward. Neither set is my “audiophile best value” pick because both lack some air/sparkle up top, but for gamers or newcomers who want comfort, easy drivability, and a familiar consumer-style tuning, the M1/M3 are absolutely worth trying.
