About This Video

In this video I tested the Akko (Echo) Nest, a brand new budget ergonomic wireless mouse that was on sale around $59. I unbox it, go over what you actually get (nice braided USB-C cable, extra skates—thank god—but no dongle extension), and then I break down the stuff that matters: shape, build, coating, skates, clicks, scroll wheel, side buttons, and the bottom design. Shape-wise it’s a small-to-medium ergo that feels super “locked in” for my claw grip, and I’d say small hands can palm it easily too. The big surprise is the QC and performance for the price. Mine had zero creaking, perfect weight balance, and it came in at 49.6g (under 50g like they promised), which is ideal for an ergo. Inside, you’re getting a 3950 sensor, a Nordic MCU setup (they claim dual— I only saw one chip), TTC Gold wheel, and Omron mechanical switches. In-game, the wireless was way more stable than I expected even without a dongle extender, and click latency felt very low. My main complaints are the coating (a bit cheap/plasticky and not very grippy) and the stock skates (thick but not rounded, scratchy on cloth pads). If you can tolerate those—or swap skates—this mouse is genuinely worth trying for the specs and the premium-looking design.
