About This Video

In this video I review the ATK U2 V2, and yeah—this thing is a budget banger for what you’re getting. It’s basically a direct clone of the Zowie U2DW (the $160 one), but you’re paying a fraction of the price and, on paper, ATK is even claiming better latency. I bought my unit with my own money (got it around $60 on AliExpress with coupons), but it’s $79 on ATK’s site and you can use code SPIRO for 5% off. I go through the unboxing (8K dongle included, grips, one big set of PTFE skates) and then the big reason people care: the shape. It’s close in length to a GPX Superlight, but narrower up front so it feels more locked-in, and the top feels pretty flat—more palm-friendly for my 18x9cm hands on the regular size. Build/QC is top notch on my copy (no creaking), and it’s ~49g even with a 500mAh battery and large skates. Clicks are tight with minimal wobble, scroll wheel is TTC Gold and honestly one of the best ATK wheels I’ve tried, but the side buttons are my main complaint—positioning and the front button actuation force just aren’t it for my grip. Performance-wise, the 3950 + Nordic 54 series MCU is basically as good as anything premium in-game.
