About This Video

In this video I’m checking out ATK’s new tempered glass mouse pad: the Crimson Limited Edition. It’s a limited run (888 drops), and the big reason I wanted to cover it is because ATK is jumping into the glass pad scene with a pretty polarizing budget option. I paid $42 for it, which is honestly the most exciting part here—just keep in mind shipping can get pricey depending on your country. Packaging was super secure, but the unboxing itself is kind of underwhelming for a “limited edition” since you don’t get extra skates or any fancy extras. I go over the design (claimed hand-drawn, not AI), the base, sizing, edges, and most importantly the surface. The pad is 490x420 and 4mm thick with a hard rubber honeycomb base that stays planted. Edge-wise it’s “2.5D chamfered” and round enough for me, but still a tiny bit sharp and could be improved. The surface is uncoated (so consistency shouldn’t wear down), smooth, and on the control side for a glass pad—slower than a lot of glass options, which I personally prefer for games like Valorant and CS:GO. It’s not the top-tier precision glass experience, but for casual gamers who want a budget control-leaning glass pad, I don’t regret buying it.
