Hey guys, it’s spiro4. In this video I’m checking out the ATK A9 Air and comparing it to previous ATK mice plus the OG G Pro X Superlight shape—because yeah, this is basically a 100% clone. But for this release, I can finally say it: this is actually better than the Superlight for me, and I’ll explain exactly why. For $79 (literally half the price), you’re getting the latest Nordic 54 L15 MCU on both the mouse and receiver, a better overall package, and a crazy amount of accessories. Unboxing is stacked this time: updated 8K receiver, braided USB-C cable, grips, and—most importantly—multiple skate options. You get two large PTFE sets, dot skates, and medium skates, and the stock skate quality is legit (rounded edges, smooth on cloth like my Artisan Zero, and surprisingly not loud on glass). Shape-wise the only real difference I feel vs Superlight is the hump area above the logo being slightly higher when I palm. Clicks and build are the highlight. Mine is super solid with no creaking, great balance, low pre/post travel, and the ATK Swift Light (Kailh-style) opticals feel crisp, snappy, and lighter than the FE opticals I’ve used. Performance-wise, I’m not pretending I can feel H20 vs L15 latency differences—2K polling is the sweet spot and it’s flawless. Only real con: side buttons don’t protrude much and need a bit more force than I’d like.
