About This Video

In this video I’m reviewing the brand new ATK F1 V2, and I’m using the Extreme (Leviton collab) version. I go through the unboxing, what you actually get in the box (braided USB-C cable, manuals, two pairs of PTFE skates that aren’t pre-applied), and then I get into the shape and who it fits. For my 18.5cm hands the mouse feels a bit small mainly because of the hump, but I still enjoy it—especially for claw, and it’s honestly a really clean fingertip shape too since the side grooves don’t get tight and the base doesn’t flare out much. Build-wise, the QC on my unit is a straight 10/10—no creaking, solid shell, and the weight balance is perfect. Mine came in around ~40g with skates, and I’m totally fine with that because I’d rather have the extra grams if it means better QC than the V1. I also talk coating (dry, grippy, slight fingerprints), skates (pure PTFE but not my favorite), and clicks—my Extreme has Omron opticals and they’re literally my favorite, super sharp with basically no pre-travel. Performance is top tier: 3950 sensor, great firmware, 8K capable with solid stability, and improved software (my favorite is LOD in 0.1 steps). The big takeaway though: just get the F1 V2 Ultimate imo. The Extreme is overpriced for what you gain, and the Ultra Max doesn’t make sense to me because it forces an 800mAh battery and heavier weight just to land you on mechanical switches.
