Hello my beautiful besties — in this cozy (and honestly a little chaotic) few days with me, I’m in full travel-prep mode with only two days before a three-week trip. I take you along for Boxing Day errands, a quick little haul of the unsexy-but-necessary stuff (baby wipes, travel toothbrush/toothpaste, deodorant), and I treat myself to one thing I actually cared about: better audio. I didn’t want to bring my camera on this trip, so I went on the hunt for the DJI mic mini so I can vlog and film TikToks on my phone without the audio being a mess in noisy places like cafes, bookstores, and airports. I also show you what my “content creator brain” looks like when I’m stressed: troubleshooting new tech for way too long, making a cozy lemon ginger tea as a reward, and trying to be productive in small sprints. Then we get into my favorite part of packing — the books. I talk through how I choose vacation reads (I need options for every mood because running out of something to read is literally my nightmare), what I’m loading onto my Kindle, and which physical books I’m bringing as backup. It’s basically reading + writing reset energy… with a snowstorm outside and a 3:30 a.m. alarm hanging over my head.
