Guys… I got a literary agent. Saying that still feels unreal because I’ve imagined making this exact announcement so many times, and now it’s actually my real life. In this video I share that I received an email from Katrina La Mer at Carvier Literary Agency, she loved my book, we hopped on a call, and that call turned into an offer of representation. I’m officially an agented romance author, and I’m genuinely so grateful—especially because querying can mess with your confidence so much. There were moments where I heavily doubted that my first book, Into the Limelight, would be the one to get me here. I talk about how special this feels after four years of writing Into the Limelight on this channel, mostly solo, and how wild it is to be one step closer to traditional publishing. Next up is receiving my edit letter, diving into revisions, and then going on submission to publishers (manifesting “when,” not “if”).
