In this video, I put two of the most popular “pro” style controllers head-to-head for PC gaming: the Xbox Elite Series 2 and the Victrix Pro BFG. I’m not just reading spec sheets either—I tested both across Elden Ring, Call of Duty (Black Ops 6), and Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2, then scored them by price, comfort, build quality, features, compatibility, and battery life. The goal was simple: figure out which one actually deserves your hard-earned money. Price is a sneaky win for the Elite Series 2 because it’s been out longer and gets way deeper discounts (plus the cheaper Elite Core option). But when it came to comfort, modular adjustability, and overall “bounce” in the hand, I kept preferring the Pro BFG—especially for games that need responsiveness. Build quality is a split: Elite 2 feels more premium, but the Pro BFG has a much better repairability path with swappable modules (and even Hall effect module options). The Elite 2 takes compatibility and battery life pretty clearly—Steam integration is cleaner and I consistently got around 38–40 hours—while the Pro BFG wins features and customization. Even though the points tied, the controller I kept reaching for was the Victrix Pro BFG.
