In this video I sit down in my little corner of the woods and play with a songwriting idea: writing a song about a girl with too many books. It’s very much an indie folk kind of daydream—soft, story-led, and a bit bookish (as always). Even though I’m not giving you a polished “here’s the final song” moment, the heart of it is the same thing I’m always chasing as a songwriter: a character you can love, a setting you can smell, and a feeling that lands gently but stays with you. I also share a bit of the wider world I’m part of through the Awen Voices Network—real people, real voices, and that human-centered Awen flow that I care about so much.
