In this video, I’m sharing a song I wrote about life after death — the quiet, tender in-between where grief and wonder sit side by side. It’s very much an indie folk offering from the woods: gentle, reflective, and rooted in the feeling that endings don’t always mean absence. I wanted to make something that holds space for the ache, but also for the softness that can come with believing that love and story keep moving. This sits alongside my wider work as part of the Awen Voices Network, which is all about real faces and real voices in Druid, Druid-adjacent, and animist spaces. I care a lot about keeping creativity human-centered and honest, and this song is one of those little “seeds” I’m sowing — a piece of music that you can return to when you need a lantern in the dark.
