In this video I’m sitting right in the middle of the thing every songwriter eventually meets: writer’s block. Instead of pretending it isn’t there, I turn it into the song itself—because sometimes the most honest line you can write is “I can’t write.” This is very indie-folk-of-me: gentle, a little bookish, and rooted in the real, human moment of getting stuck and listening for what wants to be said underneath it. I also share a bit about why I love being part of the Awen Voices Network—real faces, real voices, and that sovereign, human-centered kind of creative flow. The takeaway is simple: you don’t have to “fix” your block to make something true. You can write from it, sing from it, and let it be a doorway back into your own voice.
