Happy Thanksgiving, y’all. In this vlog I’m literally starting the day looking how I look because the mission was simple: clean up, get my life together, and get some editing done. I’m doing my usual reset—making coffee, making the bed, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping—because the floors were filthy and I needed that fresh-home feeling. I also shared a couple cleaning must-haves I swear by when you’ve got pets with hair, plus a little real-life moment of me breaking blush while trying to tidy up (the worst). Then my family pulls up, so it turns into a full house—kids, dogs, and my sister’s new cat Ezekiel (yes, the cousins had to “mesh”). We cook, eat, and just enjoy being together. The next day we hit the gym to get back on track, ran errands, and did home decor shopping for curtains and bathroom mats at At Home and TJ Maxx (because Amazon tried to play my face with the pricing and I’m not doing used curtains). We also did Five Below with the kids, tested the Hershey’s fondue set, and I gave y’all the honest tea on a “hole in the wall” lounge situation that was not giving—DJ was good, but overall I wouldn’t recommend it. We ended the weekend with Waffle House, IKEA inspo, and all the cozy holiday vibes.
