hi guys!! in this vlog i brought you along for RI orientation (jc edition) and honestly… i was lowkey scared at the start LOL but it ended up being sooo much better than i expected. you’ll see little snippets of us dancing, playing games in class, doing challenges, and just trying to survive the whole “everyone has their OGs” vibe while we’re just sitting there like two losers 😭 (but no ok it was fine). i also did a mini what’s-in-my-bag moment because i was super extra and packed my soft helmet/bag, umbrella, jacket for cold lecture theatres, bandana, tissues, and a tote bag… and yes my friends predicted i’d lose something by the end of the day. the biggest takeaway for me was how much more connected i felt to my house in RI compared to my previous school experience. i found my community in HH and i’m really grateful for my OG + our OGLs because they made everything feel welcoming. the last day was especially memorable — community singing at the school field was so fun because people from other OGs joined in, even people i didn’t know at all. after orientation ended, we still had OG dinner + cake, and i wrapped it up with my real thoughts: i had fun, i met new friends, and my social battery wasn’t even that drained. stay tuned because i found out my new class and jc study vlogs are coming!!
