In this JC diaries ep.7, I’m basically living the hustle life and trying to convince myself I’m fine even when I’m lowkey stressed (and maybe getting sick…). I start off studying with Singi and I’m still on Atomic because I didn’t finish it last time LOL — the plan was to finally wrap up chem bonding + the tutorial, then speed-run enzymes. Somewhere in the middle, my brain fully betrayed me and I drew H O2 instead of H2O, so if you’re also drowning in content, just know you’re not alone. After that it’s a lot of school days + late nights: I go in early to film school stuff, we’re back on team Raffles, and it’s just editing, rushing submissions, and trying to survive. There’s also the fun parts that keep me sane — rock showcase vibes, waffles after stressful work, and then mala with the gang because we all skipped lunch and were literally hungry ghosts. The night ends super soft: rooftop talks, staring at the blue sky like “one day we’ll make it out,” rain in the distance, and walking to get supper. It’s a reminder that even in mugging season, the little moments with friends are what carry you through.
