About This Video

In this Arizona family vlog, I’m taking you along as we travel from Phoenix to Sedona (and beyond) with our 13-month-old, and yes—we actually did the Devil’s Bridge hike. We started with coffee (because obviously), checked into a Hilton Grand Vacations-style suite setup (I always prefer a hotel with a little kitchen/sofa area when we have a baby), and then headed out. The hike was beautiful, scary, and everything in between. We lost our way twice, had zero network, and ended up following a group—so if you’re doing this trail, don’t assume your phone will save you. Also, big shoutout to my husband for carrying our little one—dad of the year, truly. After Devil’s Bridge, we were completely done (my legs were not moving), but we still kept the trip going in a very realistic “traveling with a baby” way—slow and intentional. Plans changed when we realized the Grand Canyon North Rim was closed, so we pivoted to Horseshoe Bend, plus a quick stop at Glen Canyon Dam and later Antelope Canyon (tour only, and no video recording). I also share the real-life stuff: car seat limits, diaper-change stops, snack strategy, and the occasional full-blown meltdown—because that’s what traveling with a toddler actually looks like.
